We’re overwhelmed with sadness at the unexpected loss of our dear teammate, Muriel Furrer. Muriel was not only an exceptionally talented athlete, but a beacon of warmth and joy, always wearing a smile that could light up the darkest of days.

Muriel was not only an extremely talented sportswoman, but also an upstanding and warm-hearted young woman who could brighten even the darkest day with a smile.

Since Muriel began her journey with the BIXS Performance Race Team in 2023, she graced several podiums in cross-country, cyclocross, road races, and time trials. She brought an immeasurable, vibrant energy to our team and has left an indelible mark not only through her achievements but also through her infectious spirit.

During this difficult time, we ask that the privacy of Muriel’s family and our team is respected. Muriel will forever be a part of our team and live on in our memories.
